Citizenship Preparation Classes

Citizenship Preparation is a free class for the residents of Branford, North Branford, Guilford, and Clinton.  It is a two-semester class beginning in September 2019. Classes meet on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm at Branford High School.

In this class, you will learn about the process of becoming a U.S citizen as outlined in the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requirements. Weekly classes focus on the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, civics exam questions, history, government, and the Naturalization interview. We will review the qualifications and documents you will need.

English language instruction in reading, writing and speaking will help you prepare for the exam. ESOL classes are offered at no charge if you need additional help with your English fluency level.
